very sorry to learn of Joan's passing - have many memories of our walks from school and enjoyed seeing her in past summers at the Bay. My sincere sympathies tp her immediate family and her brothers amd siister and all extended family.

Aunt Joan always was a bright spot in every summer I had growing up. Her return to the Island would mean summer had begun. I couldn't wait to run up the hill to Louis' house to see her and get that big squeeze of a hug. She will always be in our hearts and fond memories.

We have been at first neighbors to Joan and Henry which very quickly became a friendship for almost 30 years .Joan always had a giant smile for my family,we are going to miss walking out our side door and seeing Joan at the sink smiling and waving to us and don't forget duke our dog she talked to him constantly through the window . Were going to miss sitting on her front steps talking about everything from how bad the bugs are to our new president ,she was very informed about current times she watched a lot of tv . Christmas won't be the same she always came over to visit and leave a gift she was very thoughtful, we all have a giant hole in our hearts that will take a very long time to heal, if it ever does. We love you
