Hi Linda
I doubt you’d remember me, but I grew up across the lawn from you, Billy and your parents. Billy was my best friend in those early days. I stopped by Forest St a few years ago and got to see Bill again for a short chat, and to introduce him to my wife and son.
I don’t know what prompted me to google Billy this evening, but I was stunned to discover that he had passed away in 2015.
My deepest condolences Linda.
It was always comforting to me that if I should ever swing through Byfield, I could look him up and touch base. It leaves an awkward space in my heart that that is no longer possible.
I treasure the time I spent in my young years with Billy, you, Verna and Ed as my second family. I remember watching lost in space in your basement while Ed fixed TVs, and playing kickball in the neighborhood. These, and many others, are memories I will always cherish.
I don’t know if this posting will ever find you, but I’m thinking of you, your dad and mom, and especially Billy.
Best regards
Brian
