F.S. ROBERTS & SON FUNERAL HOME HELPS REFOREST PUBLIC LANDS IN MASSACHUSETTS

ROWLEY, MA. -JANUARY--A UNIQUE, INNOVATIVE SERVICE HAS BEEN ADOPTED BY THE F.S. ROBERTS & SON FlJNERAL HOME. THROUGH ITS RECENT AFFILIATION WITH THE LOFTY OAKS ASSOCIATION, THE HOME IS ARRANGING FOR MEMORIAL TREES TO BE PLANTED ON PUBLIC LANDS IN MASSACHUSETTS. EACH LIVING MEMORIAL WILL HONOR A MEMBER OF A FAMILY THAT THEY HAVE SERVED.

THIS PROGRAM IS PART OF A LARGE ENDEAVOR, IN SUPPORT OF THE STATE OF MASSACHUSETTS' CONSERVATION AND REFORESTATION PROGRAMS, TO RESTORE THE LANDSCAPE AND OUR ENVIRONMENT WITH THE ETERNAL BEAUTY OF LIVING TREES.

AFTER EACH SERVICE, IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS WILL BE INFORMED THAT A MEMORIAL TREE HAS BEEN ARRANGED FOR BY THE F.S.ROBERTS & SON FUNERAL HOME. ONCE THE TREE PLANTERS HA VE PLANTED THE TREE, THE DESIGNATED RELATIVES AND FRIENDS WILL BE SENT AN OFFICIAL CERTIFICATE OF PLANTING SUITABLE FOR FRAMING AND KEEPING IN THE FAMILY'S HISTORY FOREVER.

THIS LIVING MEMORIAL IS AN EXAMPLE OF THE NEW, PIONEERING APPROACH BEING TAKEN BY JEFFREY E. MEGNA OF THE F.S. ROBERTS & SON FUNERAL HOME TO INCREASINGLY CONTRIBUTE TO THEIR COMMUNITY AND THE ENVIRONMENT.
