William A. Levesque

BYFIELD – William (Bill) A. Levesque, 57, of Byfield, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 20, 2015.

Born in Lynn, MA, he was the son of the late Enoil A. and Verna W. (Moran) Levesque. He lived most of his life in Byfield.

Bill was employed for over 30 years as the Service Manager at Ashby-Cross, Inc. in Newburyport.  In addition, he served as a volunteer fire fighter with the Byfield Fire Department. In his spare time he also enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and time spent at the lake.

Bill is survived by a son, Stephen M. Levesque of Byfield, a sister, Linda M. Levesque and her husband Arthur N. Newton of Haverhill; two sisters-in-law, Patricia Connoly of West Newbury, Maureen Nute of Virginia; two nephews, Patrick Mayo of Amesbury and Michael Mayo of West Newbury.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Thursday, August 27, at 11:00 a.m. in the F. S. Roberts & Son Funeral Home, 14 Independent Street, Rowley.  Calling hours Wednesday 5 – 7 p.m. Burial will take place in South Byfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Bill’s memory to the Protection Fire Company #1 of Byfield, 44 Central Street, Byfield, MA 01922.
