Valerie A. Adams

Valerie A. (Roy) Adams, 76, of Georgetown, passed away peacefully at her home on August, 31, 2016 surrounded by those she loved. She was the wife of Charles R. Adams. Born in Salem, MA on December 5, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Anna (Kulakowski) Roy. Following her graduation from Peabody High School, Class of 1959, Valerie attended and completed the course at Fazio Beauty Academy. She worked for a while in beauty salons until she remained at home to raise her family. She was a parishioner of Saint Mary’s Church. Her most cherished time was spent with her family and cooking.  Beside her husband of 53 years, Valerie is survived by her daughters, Dawn Floyd of Hawaii, Tammy Grazio of North Carolina; grandchildren, Darian Floyd, Ian Barrios, Nicholas Grazio, Alexa Grazio. She was the sister of the late Stanley, Philip and Ralph Roy. Funeral Service will be private and at the convenience of the family, burial in Main Street Cemetery.
