Keith F. Gardner

Keith F. Gardner, 60, passed away at his home with his family on Monday, June 13, 2016.  A longtime resident of Amesbury, Keith was born in Beverly and grew up in Rowley MA with his parents Ralph A. Gardner and Marilyn (Byrne) Gardner and his siblings, Linda S. Gardner, Brian A. Gardner and Kevin C. Gardner.  Keith attended Rowley schools and graduated from Triton Regional High School before enlisting in the Army, where he worked as a Military Policeman stationed in Augsburg and New Ulm Germany.  After leaving the army Keith worked as a Deputy Sheriff for the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department and later as a police officer for the Department of Defense out of Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.  Keith’s hobbies included playing his acoustic 12 string guitar and collecting German beer steins.  Keith is survived by his wife, Augusta Dickson and his children, Thomas P. Gardner-Dickson and Sarah A. Gardner-Dickson along with his sister and brothers, several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and many cousins.  His Funeral will be held on Friday, June 17 at 12:00 noon in the F. S. Roberts & Son Funeral Home, 14 Independent Street, Rowley. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Peabody.
