Please accept my condolences on the passing of Aldene. It was an honor to have known her and have her as a member at Curves in Rowley.

Aldene and Arthur (and dear Thalma) were most kind to our family for many years in many ways. We will never forget them and their generosity.

Dear Lisa and Peter,
I have many fond memories of life and babysitting at the end of Hammond St. My parents held you both in high regard. I hope your family is safe and happy. Thank you so much for your condolences.

While we were not privileged to meet Aldene in person, through daughter Maralyn, we have learned a great deal about her over the past 44 years, since meeting at Indiana University, Bloomington, in 1972. We know how very cherished Aldene was, and reading of her many, many accomplishments, know how much her presence will be missed. As the Ancient Romans inscribed on their gravestones: "Sit tibi terra levis." May the earth lie lightly on thee, Aldene.

Dear Kendra and Eaton Family, your grandfather Ray helped perfect my Mother's voice through his lessons in the 1930's in Danvers and as a boy I remember him coming by the house for singing and piano. Aldene and Arthur were a pleasure to know, and any opportunity to hear her cello was a blessing. When she played at my aunt Edna Barron's graveside service left our family with peaceful memories. Edna lived to age 99 and adored Aldene. On behalf of my family we send our condolences.

It is said that those who sing, pray twice. In Aldene's case those who play the cello offer our songs to God. Thank you for being our 'voice' and our friend. Stars will always shine brighter because of you!

Dear Jeanne, Thank you so much for your kind posting. I realized with extreme dismay that - although we tried to include everything in my mother's obituary - we inadvertently omitted that your mother predeceased her. We would have included
"Aldene was predeceased by her sister, Nathalie Eaton Bray in 2000. "
I am so sorry. Dale
