Thomas M. Brady

Thomas M. Brady, 89, of Topsfield, MA, passed away at home on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. He was the husband of Florence T. (Howell) Brady. Thomas was born in Tyrone, PA, on December 29, 1932, son of the late Edward and Alverda (Moore) Brady.

He was a proprietor in the carpet industry.

Thomas enjoyed watching Jeopardy, news, reading history articles, gardening, loved to cook, and was a connoisseur of soups, especially his clam chowder.

He was a parishioner at Saint Rose of Lima Parish in Topsfield and a loyal supporter of Boston Children’s Hospital and the Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem.

Besides his wife, he is survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his sons, Patrick Brady and Matthew Brady; granddaughter, Julia Brady, daughter of Patrick, his brother, David Brady, and sister, Miriam Speece.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 10:30 a.m., at Saint Rose of Lima Church, 12 Park Street, Topsfield, MA. Burial will follow at Rowley Burial Ground.
