Robert B. Cressey

Robert B. Cressey, 89, of Topsfield, MA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 10, 2018.

He was born on May 19, 1929 and raised in Rowley, MA, son of the late Herman S. and Elva E. (Egler) Cressey. He was the husband of the late Patricia (Kaknes) Cressey.

He was a graduate of Newburyport High School, Class of 1946, Brewster Academy, Wolfeboro, NH and University of New Hampshire, Class of 1952.

Robert was the owner of E. Cressey & Son Greenhouses in Rowley.  He was a member of the Massachusetts Growers Association.  He loved the outdoors and enjoyed biking, hiking, and canoeing.

Robert is survived by two sons, Daniel W. Cressey and his wife Marsha of Rowley, David W. Cressey and his wife Kristen of Manchester, MA; a daughter, Wendy Cressey and her fiancé Andrew Fournier of Boston; a grandson, Andrew Cressey; beloved nieces, nephews, brother in laws and sister in law. He was predeceased by his brother Donald Cressey and sister Marcia Haley.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the F. S. Roberts & Son Funeral Home, 14 Independent Street, Rowley.
