Peter H. Lomas

      It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Captain Peter Lomas, who passed on October 11th, 2023. Peter will be forever missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

     Pete was a kind, generous, and loving person who touched the lives of many. He was known for his infectious smile, positive attitude, and love of the ocean.

     Peter spent half his life as a deep-sea fishing Captain and the other half as a well-respected carpenter. He was a man of many amazing talents.

     In his free time, he loved to go fishing, observe wildlife, draw, garden, and spend time with his family.

     Peter will be deeply missed by his loving wife (Bonnie Ford), caring daughter (Genia Lomas), devoted stepchildren (Susan McDonnell and Brian Buschmann), adoring grandchildren (Ari, Riley, and Leah McDonnell, Amanda and Kevin Buschmann, and Morris and Felix Lomas), brothers (John and Glen Lomas), mother (Eugenia Lomas), and all of his family and friends.

     Per Peter’s request, services will be private at a later date.

     In leu of flowers, please donate to the Kaplan Family Hospice House at 78 Liberty Street in Danvers, MA.
