Neal V. Conley

Neal Vincent Conley, age 59, passed peacefully at home on March 18, 2022.

He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, companion, and friend to all.

Neal graduated from Triton in 1980 and began his career as a carpenter. In his early 20’s he started building the house where he raised his family in Newbury. A strong role model, he always did everything honestly and by the book.

He was very proud of his three children’s accomplishments, and he adored his two grandchildren.

Neal left an impression on everyone he met. He loved clamming, ice fishing, and watching his great-nephews and nieces play hockey.  

He was a top player on the Newburyport Elks horseshoe league, along with his daughter.

If you knew Neal, you know the power he had to always make everyone feel loved. It was putting others needs before his own that made him the happiest.

He always made sure we were “all right” and never asked for anything in return.

We should always remember to follow his example. Find what you love in life and don’t let go.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 4-7 p.m., at F. S. Roberts & Son Funeral Home, 14 Independent Street, Rowley. Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass on Friday, March 25, 2022, at 10 a.m., at Saint Mary’s Church, Main Street, Rowley. Burial will follow at Rowley Burial Ground.
