Lillian P. Maselli

Lillian P. Maselli, August 20, 1922 - October 22, 2022. Lillian (Lil) was born and raised in her beloved New York City. In 1946 she married George P. Maselli, who predeceased her in 1998, after more than 50 years of marriage. They started their family in NYC but soon moved to Dumont, NJ. Eventually, with the family complete, George's work brought them all to Chelmsford, MA where they lived for more than 25 years. The Chelmsford home was often filled with gatherings of the extended family which centered around warm hospitality, delicious food, and lots of love.

They lived out their retirement years in Osterville, MA, on Cape Cod, and in S. Palm Beach, FL. Her longtime companion in her widowhood was Patrick Marone of Batavia, NY, and W. Palm Beach, FL. Lil spent her final years in Ipswich, MA. Besides her family and friends, the great loves of her life were power shopping and dancing. She was very accomplished at both. Whenever there was music playing you could be sure she would be lighting up the dance floor.

Lil is survived by her seven children, Jan Stocek and husband Russell of AZ; Lili Maselli of MA; Terry Manahan and husband Ron of NH; George Maselli and wife Baya of FL; Atty. William Maselli and wife Olga of ME; Don Maselli and life partner Marji Hall of FL; and Joyce Rodgers and husband Terence of MA. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Church on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery at 2:00 PM in Bourne, MA.
