Kathryn M. Duggan

Kathryn Marie (Doak) Duggan, 58, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 11, 2021, at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, MA,  surrounded by her loved ones. She was the widow of Michael G. Duggan.

Born in Lynn, Massachusetts on October 2, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Albert C. Doak and Margaret M. (Lamoureaux) Doak.

Kathy graduated from Triton Regional High. She retired after 40 years of working as a housekeeper in nursing home facilities.

She grew up on a farm with her brothers and sisters. There was a variety of animals she loved and cared for. Kathy was an avid animal lover; throughout her life she also rescued feral cats and other cats from animal shelters. She absolutely loved cats. She also loved music, sewing, knitting and baking. Some of her favorite memories were taking long walks with her daughter by the Gloucester Waterfront.

 Kathy is survived by her daughter, Lisa M. Duggan; a sister, Debra Roberge and partner, Mike Castonguay;  two brothers, Richard Doak, Larry Doak and wife, Kelly and many nieces, nephews, extended family and her boyfriend, Richard Palleschi.

She was predeceased by her brother, David Doak; brother-in-law, Frank Roberge and nephew, Jacob Nyberg.
