He was the beloved husband of the late Frances (Milewski) Diozzi whom he was unconditionally devoted to during their 42 years of marriage. He joined Frances on what would have been her 83rd birthday.
John was the cherished father of his only child, Jean-Marie and her husband Scott Atherton of Rowley.
Adored “Pup” to Christopher, Cameron, Ryan, Brendan and Megan whom he loved immensely.
Loving brother to his sister, Rita Diozzi and brother-in-law to Jean McDonagh and her husband Michael and their children, Maura and Michael.
John was Veteran in the United States Army serving in Germany from 1955-1959.
We wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Country Health and Rehabilitation who were his second family; their care, compassion and support helped us through an unbearable time and we will be forever grateful. Also, thanks to Constellation Hospice who provided comfort and care in these last few days.
