James Kent Obituary

James Lawrence Kent, 82, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020. Born in Newburyport, MA, on May 8, 1938, son of the late James C. Kent and Marion (O’Neil) Kent.

He graduated from Ipswich High School, Class of 1956.

James joined the United States Army in 1958 and served until 1963.

A long-time Rowley resident, he worked as an Electronic Technician at Western Electric in North Andover, MA until his retirement.

He is survived by his sons; Michael J. Kent of Merrimac, MA, and Jason Kent of Orefield, PA; his sisters, Mary Newton of Haverhill, MA, Betty Brickley of Amesbury, MA and Nancy White of Newburyport, MA; grandsons, James M. Kent, Joseph R. Kent and Hugh D. Kent and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be private.
