Esther I. Maguire

Esther I. Maguire, 49, formerly of Byfield, died unexpectedly on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at her home.  

Esther was born September 17, 1969 in Gloucester.  She was the daughter of Harold J. MacIsaac of Wilton, ME and Anita (Fuhrmann) MacIsaac of Bradford. She attended Triton Regional High School and was employed at Amato’s in Seabrook as a Manager.  

Esther was raised in Byfield and loved her hometown. She enjoyed being a ”Byfielder” and greeted fellow “ Byfielders” with a “WEE”.  Her many nieces and nephews have fond memories of her packing all the kids up for a beach day.  Her happiest times were being with her children and family.  She was a very proud mother and loved her children dearly.  She had a passion for family history and spent many hours researching the family tree. Esther also enjoyed live music and dancing. Family meant everything to Esther. Her creative and eccentric ways  will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her four children,  James Maquire of Manchester, NH,  Joshua, Colby, and Angela Maguire all of Byfield;  sisters, Patricia Tomms and her husband, Keith of Corsicana, TX, Corinne MacIsaac and Shaun Searle of Byfield;  brothers, Jeffrey MacIsaac and his wife, Jenny of Wilton, ME and Jesse and his wife, Jennifer of Farmington, ME.  She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

 Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. at the F. S. Roberts & Son Funeral Home, 14 Independent Street, Rowley. A funeral service will follow immediately at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Esther’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
