Dorothy M. Wright-Irwin

     Dorothy M. Wright-Irwin, 77, of Lynn, MA, passed away on September 26, 2023. She was born on May 29, 1946, in Pittsfield, MA, to the late Merton and Margaret Wright. Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David J Irwin of Lynn.

     Dorothy attended St. Joseph's Pittsfield High School and later received both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree from Lesley University. She had a fulfilling career as a Pharmacy Technician, working for Edward's Drug in Lynn and Stop & Shop Pharmacy in Lynn until her retirement. Dorothy's passion for caring with compassion led her to teach classes at North Shore Community College. She also practiced Reiki for many years, bringing comfort and healing to those in need.

     Dorothy is survived by her loving daughter, Michelene Shinnick, and her husband Daniel Shinnick of Rowley, MA. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Redmond, Maura, and David. Dorothy is also survived by her brother, John Wright of Washington, her sisters, Barbara Amicone of Florida, and Bev Buckley of Connecticut. She leaves behind nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

     May Dorothy M. Wright-Irwin's soul find eternal peace, and may her memory be a source of comfort and strength to all who knew and loved her.
