Catherine P. (Kay) Dodge, 101, passed away after failing health on Sunday, December 12, 2021at the Country Center in Newburyport, MA. Born on January 1, 1920 in Boston, MA to John J. and Elizabeth (Braun) Pyne. 

She was raised and educated in Quincy, MA. Catherine was the wife of the late Malcolm B. Dodge with whom she shared 60 years of marriage. 

She served in the U.S. Marine Corps. She was employed at Boston Naval Shipyard, United Shoe Machinery, and the Internal Revenue Service. She also owned and operated Dodge's Cafe in Rowley with her husband.

Catherine is survived by a son, John B. Dodge of Deer Isle, Maine and a daughter, Elizabeth N. Dodge and partner David J. Lees III of Ipswich, MA. She is also survived by her granddaughter Nell E. Dodge and 2 great grandchildren, Theodore and Beatrice of London, England and sister Jean Sullivan of Milton, MA and several nieces and nephews.  

She is predeceased by a brother Edward Pyne and sisters Marguerite, Elizabeth (Betty) and Dorothy (Dottie).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., at Saint Mary's Church, Main Street, Rowley.
