Carolyn Locke Obituary

Carolyn (Carol) (Roberts) (French) Locke 82 passed away peacefully at home with her husband by her bedside following a strong courageous battle with lung cancer.

Born in Saugus, MA. She was the daughter of the late Lynwood and Clara Roberts.

 Carol worked many years as a waitress at the former Klemm’s, Stromberg’s and Valles Steak House. Carol was also a former Girl Scout mother. To know Carol was to love her. She was a member of First Congregational Church of Rowley. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, taking walks and tending her garden.

  In addition to her beloved husband Al with whom she shared 33 wonderful years of marriage, Carol is also survived by her daughters Lori Bray and Cheri Judge both of Lynn. Stepmother to Jean and her husband Randy of Naples, Florida. Alice and her husband Paul of Las Vegas, Nevada, Kevin Locke of Old Orchard Beach, Maine and The late David Locke of Arizona.

 Grandchildren Barry and Alicia Donahue of Gloucester. Kelly and Fred Parziale of Danvers.  Shannon and Nikki Bray of Lynn. Doug and Jen Judge of Easton, Amanda and Jacob Judge of Lynn and Jonny Judge and his fiancé Karlie Cassidy of Middleton. Beth and Mike Mester of Boulder City, Nevada, Jill and David Oberg of Gillette, Wyoming, Erin Locke of Andover and Christopher Locke of Chicago.

Her sister Dorothy Guy and her brother Walter and his wife Marlene Roberts of Wellington, FL as well as several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings George, Albert and William Roberts and Bernice Johnson.

In light of the current restrictions on gatherings a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
