Beth A. Brownell, 60, of Rochester, NH, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, NH after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
Beth was born in Stoughton, MA on February 22, 1962, daughter of David R. Brownell and the late June E. (Strong) Brownell. She grew up in Rowley and attended Triton High School in Byfield, graduating in 1980.
Beth retired from her beloved position at Delta Airlines in Tampa, FL where she made many meaningful and lifelong friendships. She took full advantage of her Delta benefits and loved traveling and experiencing the world. Some of her favorite places to visit were Holland, Italy, and Nova Scotia. Most recently, Beth checked off a bucket list cruise of the Mediterranean in October 2022.
Following her cancer diagnosis, Beth became an active committee member of the Seacoast Cancer 5K. She always expressed being incredibly thankful for the support she received from her team at Wentworth Douglas in Dover, NH.
In addition to travel, Beth loved spending time with friends and family, gardening, walking the beach in search of sand dollars, soap operas, and photography. She will be remembered as someone with a huge heart, a positive attitude, and a true love of life.
Besides her father, Beth is directly survived by her brother, David Brownell, sister in-law Mimi, and their children, RJ, Julie, and John. Additionally, Beth leaves behind her family consisting of Joseph and Sara Brown and their children, Penny and Howie, Ashley and Joshua Bruns and their children, James, Lia, Katy, and Maisie, Matthew Brown, and her dear friends Cynthia Lemien and Jayne McElroy.
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 11 a.m., at F. S. Roberts & Son Funeral Home, 14 Independent Street, Rowley, MA. Inurnment to follow at Rowley Burial Ground. Once services are complete, please join us at Stephanie’s Village Pancake House, 26 Main Street, Rowley for a celebration of life.
