Adrienne Ellis

     It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Adrienne Ellis, who passed away peacefully on August 17, 2023. Her passing is enormous loss for all who knew and loved her.

     Adrienne was born in New York City in 1940, the only child of Belle and Julian Friedman, and grew up in their home in the Bronx. Adrienne graduated from William Howard Taft High School in 1958 and attended the City College of New York for two years.

     It was as a young adult that Adrienne developed her spiritual side, influenced by the books of Joel Goldsmith and The School of Truth. Adrienne was known for her strength and wisdom—qualities she attributed to what she learned from those spiritualists.

     Adrienne will be deeply missed by her son Matt, daughter-in-law Lynne, granddaughter Abby, friends Bonnie, Carol and Mara, and the residents and staff at the Kaplan Estates in Peabody.

     A celebration of Adrienne’s life will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 3:30 p.m., at F.S. Roberts & Son Funeral Home, 14 Independent Street, Rowley. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Massachusetts Audubon Society, 208 South Great Road, Lincoln, MA 01773, or Wingmasters, 34 Long Hill Road, Leverett, MA 01054.

    Rest in peace dear Adrienne. You will be forever missed and always remembered.
