Lucie A. (Brassard) Jenkins, 90, of 50 Mansion Drive, Rowley, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018. She was the wife of the late John T. Jenkins.
Lucie was born in St. Camille, Quebec, Canada on September 18, 1927, daughter of the late Emilio and Rose-Alba (Proulx) Brassard.
Prior to retirement, she was employed as a file clerk with the Federal Government.
Lucie enjoyed dancing, playing cards and puzzles.
She is survived by a son, Ronald T. Jenkins of Rowley; three daughters, Cynthia Conza and husband Michael of Nottingham, NH, Diana Warren of Franklin, NC, Theresa Dube of South Hampton, NH; five grandsons, a great-granddaughter, a sister, Cecile Brassard of Asbestos, Quebec, Canada and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Gloria Suroviak, a grandson, Jeff and several siblings. Lucie was also predeceased by her longtime companion and dear friend, Henry Chouinard of Ipswich.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the F. S. Roberts & Son Funeral Home, 14 Independent Street, Rowley. Calling hours will be prior to the service beginning at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Main Street Cemetery, Rowley. Contributions in Lucie's memory may be made to Solace for Stephanie, Inc., P. O.
