June E. Maguire, 88, of Church Street, Byfield, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 24, 2018.
She was born in Newburyport, MA on March 11, 1930, daughter of the late Leon Ernest and Dorothy (Smith) Senior. Wife of the late John Edward Maguire.
June was employed for many years as a cook in the restaurant business. For many years she served on the South Byfield Cemetery Commission and worked at the voting polls. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and embroidering.
June is survived by a daughter, Dorothy E. Spurr of Byfield; four sons, Michael Maguire of Byfield, Dennis Maguire of Byfield, Timothy Maguire of Pittsburgh, NH, Thomas Maguire of Byfield; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the F. S. Roberts & Son Funeral Home, 14 Independent Street, Rowley. Calling hours will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at South Byfield Cemetery.
