My father Steve C. Costas was a close friend of Charlie in their later years. They both resided at Rivers Edge Condominiums in Newburyport. Charlie would stop by each day on his way to get his mail to chat. He was sure to be wearing short pants well into November. They were true friends even through my father's illness and passing.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I worked for Charlie Many years ago and did motorcycling with him and Becky, he will always be remembered for being such a great friend.

First met Charlie & Becky, when Charlie was Discharged from the Service. He came home, with a Southern Belle(Becky) He soon took over Veteran's Garage, from his parents. I used to run the gas pumps, at night and drove his dump truck, hauling hot top. Many a time, I rode along with him, while he patrolled the streets, using his family car. He had a blue light, he placed on roof of car, when pulling over speeders.
I will always remember, the great talks we had. Will miss him & Becky.
