Angelo "Junior" G. Dagres

Angelo “Junior” George Dagres of Railroad Avenue, Rowley, peacefully passed away December 23, 2017 at the age of 83, surrounded by his loving family.  The loving husband of Elizabeth (Henderson) Dagres, He was the son of the late George Angelo Dagres and Silvia (Davros) Dagres.  Survived by his loving children; Todd Dagres and his wife Elizabeth, Troy Dagres, Tara Ann January and her husband Tim.  Junior had a passion for watching his grandchildren’s sporting events and mentoring their athletic spirt.  To carry on his legacy are grandchildren; Skye Martin, Chad Martin, Andrew Dagres, Jason Dagres, Emma Dagres, and Ava Dagres.  With a love for animals and woodworking, Junior’s heart was on the ball field, prior to his entrepreneurship in the hospitality industry he played in the Major Leagues for the Baltimore Orioles from 1957 to 1963.

His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the F. S. Roberts & Son Funeral Home, 14 Independent Street, Rowley. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, December 27th from 4 – 7 p.m. Burial will be private.
