ROWLEY- Conrad L. Johnson, age 78 years, husband of the late Arniece (Jensen) Johnson, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at Seaview Retreat in Rowley. Son of the late Sewell and Esther (McHugh) Johnson, he was a resident of Rowley most of his life.
Mr. Johnson served in the U.S. Navy, with the SeaBees, during the Korean War. He was the owner of Johnson Paving until he retired over 19 years ago. Conrad was a member of Rowley VFW Post No. 5707 and enjoyed boating with friends.
Surviving him are his two sons, Conrad Johnson Jr. of Rowley, David Johnson and his wife Sherri of Newbury; his daughter Connie Johnson of Seabrook, NH; his grandchildren, Keith W. Johnson, Thomas J Balboni Jr., Christopher M. Balboni, Breanna Lee Johnson and Taylor Johnson. He was also the brother of the late Sewell, Jr., Corinne, and Loretta .
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 3 to 5 P.M. at the F.S. Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 14 Independent Street, Rowley, MA. A Memorial Graveside Service will be held privately for the family.
