NEWBURYPORT: Linda M. (Bowman) Savage, 66, of
Newburyport, passed away suddenly at the Portsmouth
Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH on Wednesday,
April 18, 2012. She was the wife of Charles L. Savage.

Linda was born in Newburyport on February 27, 1946
daughter of the late Robert and Edith (Sanborn) Bowman.

She graduated from Newburyport High School Class of
1964. Linda worked most of her life at Chase-Shawmut
and for Ferraz-Shawmut until her retirement.

Linda enjoyed her family and friends; she loved a
good bargain at yard sales.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son,Paul Bradbury of Newburyport;
her twin sister Lynne Gray of Newburyport, with whom she had a close and
special bond. She also had a grandson, Skye Bradbury of Newburyport.
 She was pre-deceased by her brother, Robert Bowman.

Private Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 21,
2012  in the F.S. Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 14 Independent Street,
Rowley. Burial will follow in the Main Street Cemetery, Rowley.
There will be no visiting hours.  In lieu of flowers
donations may be made to the American Cancer Society,
30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701-9376.

We are so saddened to hear about Linda. I have fond memories of her at work and our "club nights" Clay and I send our deepest sympathy to Charlie and the family.

My heart broke as I heard the news this week of Linda''s passing away. She was one of the nicest people I have ever known, and I will always remember her with the fondest of memories. Charlie, as you know Linda and I went to high school together. I was so sad to hear of her passing. She was a great person and always greeted me with a big smile and hello, whenever our paths crossed. Please accept my heartfelt condolences to you and your family.
