June C. Rogers

June Cole Rogers. 91, of Topsfield MA, formerly of Malden, Georgetown and Rowley, MA passed away peacefully on March 15, 2017. June was born in Malden, MA on June 15, 1925, the daughter of the late Donald & Mary (McKee) Cole. June was a graduate of Malden High School and worked as a bookkeeper for numerous corporations in the Boston area for over 50 years.

The greatest joy in June’s life was her family and her pets.  June loved animals, especially dogs and horses.  Her happiest moments were riding Pandora and playing with her dog Jessie.  She also liked spending time at the family summer home on Lovell Lake in Sanbonville, New Hampshire.  June was a very independent woman who had the good fortune to be able live her life on her terms.  She will be missed by her family and friends.

June was predeceased by her parents and her brother Donald Cole Jr.  She is survived by her brother Robert Cole of Tulsa, Oklahoma: her nieces and nephew Sandra Snow of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Susan England of Andover, Connecticut, Bruce Cole of Westwood, Massachusetts, and Lorraine Theriault of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her grandnephew and grandniece William England and Katherine Marino; and her great nieces Giuliana Marino, Gabriela Marino and Alexandra England. 

A celebration of June’s life will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial is private.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in June's memory to the MSPCA-Angell Fund, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130.
