John F. Edmonds

John F. Edmonds, age 87, of Elm Street, Byfield, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Priscilla J. (Colby) Edmonds. Born on February 2, 1929 to the late William E. Edmonds and Mary (Meagher) Edmonds.

John served his Country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed for many years as a technician at Scott Oil Company in Gloucester. A devout Catholic, John served as a Eucharistic Minister at the former Saint Anne’s Church in Gloucester.

Besides his wife, he is survived by 3 sons, John, Paul, Gordon Edmonds, a daughter, Elizabeth Delmonico, a step-son, Paul Crocker, 2 step-daughters, Deborah (Mac Donald) Tremblay, Linda LeMay, and several grandchildren.  

Calling hours respectfully omitted. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Friday, February 12, at 11 a.m. in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Pine Street, Manchester-by-the-Sea.
