Janice E. (Levere) Cain, 80, of Byfield, passed away Sunday afternoon September, 20, 2015 at the Maplewood Center in Amesbury . She was he widow of Kenneth P. Cain who passed in 1993.
Janice was born in Salem, February 3, 1935 to her late parents John and Elizabeth (Smith) Levere.
She was a long time Byfield resident and was very involved with the Community United Methodist Church where she was an Organist. She also enjoyed reading, sewing and quilting. During her working career she was employed as a Registered Nurse.
Janice is survived by three sons, Kenneth Peter Cain of Rye,NH, John M. Cain of Carpenter,WY, Paul V. Cain of Nashua,NH ; two daughters, Debra Dash of Byfield and Jill Leveille of Kingston,NH. She also leaves 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September, 24 , 2015 At 10AM in the F.S. Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 14 Independent Street, Rowley. Burial will follow in the Main Street Cemetery, Rowley. A period of visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 5-7 PM at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Protection Fire Co. #1, Central Street, Byfield, MA 01922.
