Jane F. Beaupre

Jane F. (Skahill) Beaupre, 73, passed away on September 6, 2016 at Sea View Retreat. Born in Newton, MA on August 31, 1943 she was the daughter of the late James A. and Grace Rita (Duddy) Skahill. Jane was educated in Waltham and graduated from St. Mary’s High School, Class of 1960 where she was Girls Valedictorian, and continued her education at Emanuel College. Jane remained home to raise her family, and then began a twenty year career in banking as Vice President at Ipswich Savings Bank. Upon retiring she then began a second career as a realtor in Ipswich at Coldwell Banker. Jane was a member of the Ipswich Rotary Club and various bank affiliated organizations.  She was very civic minded and volunteered at the Rowley Council of Aging where she assisted with the Meals on Wheels program, read for the blind, and volunteered at the Ipswich Animal Shelter. Jane was devoted to her family and her cats. She considered herself fortunate to have been able to travel extensively throughout the United States and abroad. Jane’s family would like to acknowledge, with grateful appreciation, the dedicated, professional and compassionate care the staff of Sea View Retreat extended to their mother during her stay. Jane is survived by her children, Charles E. “Ted” Beaupre, III and his wife Christine of Groveland, Dawn Beaupre Haggis of Mansfield,MA; grandchildren, Kylie Haggis, Tanner Haggis and Ava Haggis.
