Barbara A. Schoenberger

Barbara A. (Caruso) Schoenberger, 69, of Newbury Road, Rowley, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 18, 2016.  She was born in Rutland, Vermont on July 30, 1947, a daughter of the late Rosario and Angela (DiGangi) Caruso. Barbara loved animals and served for many years as a volunteer Director of Adoption at Ipswich Humane Group. Often times she cared for many people’s pets. She loved nature and working in her flower garden. Barbara is survived by her husband, Fred O. Schoenberger, two daughters, Angela M. Siemasko and husband Jeff, of Rowley; Karin L. Doherty and husband Billy, of Fremont, NH; a sister, Rosemarie Monaco and husband John, of  Long Island, NY; grandchildren, Andrew and Erika Siemasko and Ryan, Evan and Ella Doherty.  She is also survived by loving nephews and a niece.  Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 26^th at 11:00 a.m. in the F. S. Roberts & Son Funeral Home, 14 Independent Street, Rowley. Calling hours on Friday, November 25^th from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Massachusetts Society for the Protection and Care of Animals (https://www.mspca.org) would have been her wish.
